E.G. Toolmakers began as a hobby machine shop.  Our philosophy is that we are an 'On The Side' business. The owner has a full time job and as a result, we are able to offer very reasonable shop rates.  With the recent acquisition of a large capacity CNC milling machine we will greatly increased our capabilities.  Take a tour of the Gallery tab to see some of the things we are up to.

About Erik Green

Erik is a Montana, USA native who graduated from Montana State University with a B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering.  Erik is a well rounded   shop owner with interesting and varied experience. He operated a computer animation firm in the infancy of computer animation and later worked as an IT technician for 3 years. Erik has stated:  "The best job that I will ever have had!" was the years he spent as a Mechanical Designer for Strategix Industrial Design in Bozeman, Montana. In addition to the numerous products he assisted I designing, Erik was a member of the company prototyping division and maintained the data sharing and network systems.  He traveled to many locations to work with vendors and clients,  finalizing production tooling and optimizing assembly line processes.  Erik is currently an employee with the Montana Air National Guard where he has 29 years experience repairing and maintaining aircraft radar, navigation and communication systems.  He has volunteered for a number of deployments to locations all over the planet.
